DAY 1 SATURDAY - DUBROVNIK TO PAKLJENA
We sail out from Dubrovnik and along the picture postcard Coast. It is like stepping back in time to beautiful old stone mansions metres from the water's edge, all framed by pine clad hills. All around are swimming coves and jetties, setting the scene for your Croatian Island hopping adventure. Diving in for impromptu swims is a feature of holidaying in the right location on a boat. Dinner tonight is a unique experience for Croatia - set in huts over the water in a mini-Maldives setting!

DAY 2 SUNDAY - PAKLJENA TO SAPLUNARA
After the seclusion of your first night's hut experience, wake for a morning hike to the nearby village of Sudurad. There's great local coffee or hire a kayak first. Pack your hiking shoes because it's a rock-themed path set amongst the trees, so not a relaxing walk. It's your holiday so do as you please. With a leisurely day ahead of swimming and a short sail to reach sandy Saplunara Beach for the night, you can take your time.
Saplunara is very much a holiday place with huts lining the beach as you see on the photos above, and sandy shallows as you swim to them. There is a stand selling ice creams and drinks nearby.
Underway to Mljet we head through the gorgeous Elaphiti Islands and a quick swim stop amongst the tree-lined almost uninhabited Island of Jaklan. These islands are a collection of several islands, mostly uninhabited, Northwest of Dubrovnik.

The sunlight creates a spectrum of colours in this natural phenomenon.
Another recommended swim stop is at a remote, secluded bay; where you may feel you are surrounded by a deserted island. Lastovo has a real feel of a traditional Croatian way of life. If you want to stretch your legs take a stunning walk to the main town of Lastovo. This region is known for its wine, its 15th and 16th Century architecture and the island has several famous chimneys that were once status symbols of Lastovo families.
