DAY 2 SUNDAY - ATHENS TO AEGINA
We set sail from Alimos Marina for a refreshing swimstop arriving at our first island late afternoon. With fertile land and wall to wall sunshine Aegina grows excellent pistachio nuts. It is also famous for the ancient Temple of Aphaias. The Temple is a panoramic drive up through the mountains passing the impressive monastery of Agios Nektarios. The views from the top are simply breathtaking. Wander along the bustling harbour watching the fishing boats bringing in their daily catch. A traditional rustic taverna with live Greek music is where we will eat under the stars. It’s a lively evening, often ending up dancing in the cobbled street of the Taverna!

DAY 3 MONDAY - AEGINA TO POROS
Take time to walk around the narrow streets of Aegina and buy fresh produce, nuts and olives from the pretty floating market boats. We set sail for Poros taking in the beautiful views of the Greek coastline. Poros is built in the shape of an amphitheatre over two hills. It has a beautiful lively waterfront and is a stunning sight as your yacht approaches the harbour. It is a protected settlement with grand traditional mansions and picturesque cobbled streets. Look out for the multicoloured little fishing boats bringing in their nets. Local cats sit alongside hoping to get thrown some food. It’s classic Greek picture postcard stuff! We dine in a friendly, family run taverna in the back streets. We have been known to lead the Greek dancing around the taverna, encouraged by the owners who love to share the tradition of dancing after dinner.

DAY 4 TUESDAY - POROS TO ERMIONI
Ermioni is a small coastal town constructed on the hill slopes around a beautiful port. Many Athenians have holiday homes here as it is such a beautiful place. Go for a refreshing and scenic walk amongst the fields of pomegranates, citrus fruits and olive groves scattered amongst old windmills or watch the world go by lounging at one of the harbourside cocktail bars. The quaint cobblestone streets have been inhabited since 3000 BC and are relatively unspoiled today. We dine this evening in a taverna overlooking the panoramic Aegean Sea.

Sailing into Hydra you may notice there are no cars on the Island, everything and everybody moves around on Donkeys! Hydra, beautiful, laid back and tranquil. Lots of lovely little back streets to explore and a delightful coastal walk with fabulous views. Jewellery shops line the town's horseshoe shaped bay. Relax early evening with a cocktail at one of the rock face bars. This evening we will dine at a stunning sea front location with spectacular views. It’s a short walk but it is possible to take a water taxi around the bay to get there if you wish to arrive in style.
