Cruising South from Split

Yacht and Catamaran getaways in the Split area offer quaint traditional harbours, hidden anchorages and coves with crystal clear waters for swimming, more lively chic harbours like Hvar (pictured below) but also some ecclectic destinations along the way.

Advice - best time to sail Split South

The most important thing to be aware of is selecting the right time of year for you and your party. In April, May, June and September you will have a fantastic Island hopping holiday here. For groups not looking for a party trip, it's best to avoid July through to mid August or you better be prepared for crowds and lots of boats, shorter swimstops, earlier departures and longer waits in the restaurants.

If your availability means you need to holiday in July or August our approach is to discuss the itinerary with you in advance and plan out a route that helps you avoid the things you don't want along the way!
