DUBROVNIK         ZATON         POMENA       LASTOVO KORCULA OLD TOWN     TRSTENIK     STON

"Croatia, the country with over 1,200 islands and the home of Game of Thrones. Its stunning seafront stretches for more than a 1000 miles. We can’t go to all the islands in one week but you will love the very special ones we have chosen for our Enchanted Islands trip.

Every day we stop for swim stops in picturesque bays, have lunch onboard, a cold beer / glass of wine and take in the amazing scenery. We host our evening dinners in the konobas (restaurants) after some free time to soak up the laid back life that is Croatia. We would love you to join us.”

SATURDAY - DUBROVNIK TO ZATON

We sail away from ACI Marina heading to our first evening harbour. Zaton is a picture postcard village on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. It is like stepping back in history here. Beautiful old stone mansions are just metres from the edge of an eye catching bay, framed by pine clad hills. All around the bay are rocky coves, jetties and swimming platforms to help you drop into the turquoise sea. Your first evening to get to know your fellow crew members is over dinner together at a seafront konoba.

SUNDAY - ZATON TO POMENA

On way to Pomena we head through the gorgeous and unspoilt Elafiti Islands. These islands are a collection of several islands, mostly uninhabited, Northwest of Dubrovnik. We will swim or take the dinghies into the famous Ulysses Cave, used as a shelter by fishermen in days gone by. The sunlight creates a spectrum of colours in this natural phenomenon. We then set sail for Pomena which is a small village as well as a harbour and the main entrance to the national park. We arrive in the afternoon with time for a relaxing walk around the village which has a lovely atmosphere. We moor in front of our special fresh fish restaurant where you will be served by the fisherman who caught your supper! Walk around the bay after dinner and enjoy the lively al fresco cocktail bar.

MONDAY- POMENA TO LASTOVO

From the yachts it’s a 15 minute walk into the park or hire a cycle for a vigorous ride into the stunning Mljet National Park to reach Malo Jezero, one of the two interconnected salt water lakes. It’s a beautiful natural ecosystem and a majestic place. Today our swim stop is in a remote, secluded bay; you may feel you are surrounded by a deserted island! Lastovo has a real feel of a traditional Croatian way of life. If you want to stretch your legs take a stunning walk to the main town of Lastovo. This region is known for its wine, its 15th and 16th Century architecture and the island has several famous chimneys that were once status symbols of Lastovo families. Tonight we dine in the peaceful harbour.

TUESDAY- LASTOVO TO KORCULA

Set amongst spectacular scenery and within the stunning backdrop of dense pine tree forests, Korcula is believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. We arrive early into the medieval old town, as there is so much to see here. It is inevitable you will delightfully lose your way around the old town’s narrow streets. The historic buildings, medieval towers and fortifying walls are stunning. Boutiques and galleries with locally produced arts and crafts are aplenty to immerse yourself in. Round off the afternoon by sipping cocktails at Bar Massimo. This exquisite cocktail bar is situated high up a narrow castle-like staircase in the old guard tower right on the waterfront with spectacular sunset views out to sea.

WEDNESDAY- KORCULA TO TRSTENIK

Korcula in the morning is a unique experience, with time to wander taking uninterrupted photos. Today we have a leisurely sail down to Trstenik whilst enjoying the favourable prevailing wind. Take the helm or sit back and enjoy the ride. If you love to sail, today is a great day! Onto the Southern side of the Peljesac Peninsula, a winemaker’s paradise with generous sunshine and consequently widely renowned for its fine wines. There are acres of vineyards interspersed by olive trees. Tonight there is an optional Trstenik Winery trail to Vinarija Grgic and a second smaller, more rustic cellar for wine tasting before dinner at our lovely waterfront konoba overlooking the yachts.

THURSDAY- TRSTENIK TO STON

We take you to the best kept secret in Croatia! Ston, the 'City of Salt' is over 500 years old and home to the oldest salt pans in Europe and the largest preserved pans in the Mediterranean. The staggering 14th Century four mile stone wall is a sight to behold. Constructed to protect the once best selling precious commodity (salt) of the Dubrovnik Republic. The 'Great Wall of Croatia' is the longest complete fortress system in Europe. The walls circle the village then climb up the hill to the Pozvizd Fortress. There are thirty rectangular towers and ten round ones dotted along the wall. Ston is famous for its locally cultivated oysters which have been described as exquisite.

FRIDAY- STON TO DUBROVNIK

We then sail towards Lopud where we will swim, lunch and soak up the sunshine. We return to the marina taking in the dramatic Dubrovnik coastline along the way. We have our last evening dinner in the marina to exchange contact numbers and to share the memories of your trip.

SATURDAY - FAREWELL

8am check out from the yacht (if you need to check out Friday evening just let us know).

We say a fond farewell and leave you to continue to explore this great City of Dubrovnik or fly to wherever your home may be.
