| You look around. What can you see other than sparkling blue water, tiny coves and a couple of others yachts? Oh, and that gorgeous little harbour in the distance that looks perfect for a spot of seafood and a wander?
Learning to handle a boat really doesn’t get much better than a flotilla sailing holiday. And with us, you really do learn, as you’ll be sailing around the exquisite Saronic Islands alongside our highly trained, professional instructors.
With a maximum of four yachts per flotilla you'll receive more attention and benefit from the unique social side of our flotillas. You'll also explore the smaller hidden gems of the Greek Islands.
More than just a holiday
With roots firmly as sailing school, we don’t just lead your trip, we work with your existing yachting skills and help you build on them. You’ll sail the exhilarating Saronic waters together with no more than four other yachts, independently skippering but learning as you go – with experts on hand, showing you how to do things and why.
This type of tuition is only possible in a small group, and when the sad day comes to anchor up for the last time, you’ll see just how valuable it’s been, and be staggered at your progress.
Smaller anchorages, bigger yachts
Winds around the Saronic Islands can be stronger than other Greek flotilla destinations. So a previous boat handling or practical learn to sail course is required to join our flotilla. If you’ve not completed this type of instruction you may want to consider the Get Away Sailing Learn to Sail course. |
You’ll also need a fit and healthy second in command to help you out onboard. But with experience brings greater challenge, so with our flotilla you can take a step up and choose to sail up to a Bavaria 42’.
The ocean awaits
Once onboard your very comfortable home for the week, the sheer beauty of the Saronic Islands is your oyster. Make sail, and you’ll soon be underway through the sapphire water with the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin, navigating around pine forests and stunning coastline. This is what Greek Island sailing is all about.
And when you and your seafaring friends spot a cluster of tavernas in the distance, chances are you’ll be able to drop anchor and head ashore for the evening. With so few boats, the flotilla can be accommodated anywhere, staying together to enjoy good food, good wine and the shared experiences of an extraordinarily good time.
